IMG_1079Each month, the angels encourage me to bring their message of love and hope to you. This month, I have chosen the Archangel Power Tarot Cards which will be the vehicle through which the message comes. The cards were composed by Doreen Virtue, PhD, and Radleigh Valentine. They tell us, “Tarot cards have a magical ability to peer through both daily occurrences and significant challenges and deliver a clear path of guidance… The tarot reflects a benevolent Universe that only wants to lead us on a path toward joy and fulfillment… [W]e created the Archangel Power Tarot Cards to preserve the ancient tarot methods, but with a message of hope and inspiration for those looking to make powerful changes in their lives.”

Tarot cards are divided into two decks..The Major Arcana describes major life events such as birth, marriage, death, relationship or career changes, and challenges that must be surmounted. These cards are represent by individual archangels who embody the aspects of that particular card. These cards also represent various stages in our lives from childhood to old age. The Minor Arcana contains four suits representing different aspects of daily life. Archangels Gabriel, Raphael, Michael and Ariel represent each of the suits, respectively. Gabriel embodies creativity and the parts of our lives where we take action. The suit of Raphael is about love, marriage, and children, as well as, psychic abilities and intuition. Michael works as the world’s protector and guardian of its people. He also assists us in clear thinking, and surmounting our challenges. Ariel represents the material world, which includes health, education, careers, and the planet.

Five cards were chosen for this reading: 1) The Empress (#3): Archangel Gabriel; 2) Six of Raphael; 3) Ten of Ariel; 4) Ten of Michael; and 5) Strength (#11): Archangel Ariel.

Card 1, The Empress, represented by Archangel Gabriel, states, “Time to act upon your plans! Creativity is rewarded. Luxurious or abundant resources.” When the  Empress card is drawn, it is time to get busy! “The Empress teaches us to take action and harness our self-confidence in order to create wonderful things,” our authors tell us. She also enjoys living in luxury, all of which comes from the actions she takes to manifest what she desires. So as the summer draws to a close, and you are ready to get back to business, take stock of your needs and wants. Remember the desires you hold dear, paired with the well-chosen actions you take to fulfill them, can lead to wonderful manifestations of your dreams. Nurture them, guide them along, love them, and reap the rewards.

Card 2, Six of Raphael states, “Embrace your inner child. New friends or rekindled relationships. Children or childhood.” The authors tell us, “Emotion can motivate us to accomplish many wondrous and exciting things. We reach out and touch the world with our hearts, and suddenly life becomes all the more worthwhile… Dreams, hopes, and deep desires are found in this suit.” This card helps us to recognize that the past can help us with our present. We may connect with old friends, or make new ones who remind us of the old days. This can bring much joy and satisfaction, but may also trigger deep-rooted issues which should be dealt with. The Six of Raphael can help us to tap into dormant desires, which can be nurtured with the Empress’ assistance.

Card 3, Ten of Ariel states, “There is so very much to be grateful for! Financial success and the promise of retirement. A rich and rewarding family life.” The authors state, “Now you have it all! There is a richness to living, and it’s all because of how diligently you’ve worked to get where you are… There is love and support all around you. You understand what really matters, and from that knowledge comes peace.” Do you believe this? If you do not recognize it, perhaps you need to dig deeper within and look more lovingly outside yourself. If there is conflict, work toward resolving it, so you can truly enjoy your accomplishments. And whether you are actually retiring, or retiring your present endeavors, as you move on, appreciate all you have on every level, and go forth with excitement and enthusiasm. Use the energies of the Empress, Raphael and Ariel to help you continue to manifest your dreams and wishes for your greatest good.

Card 4, Ten of Michael states, ” A situation has ended, and you are finally free. New opportunities for happiness will now follow. Put the past behind you.” This card is assuring you that whatever comes up can be dealt with, so it no longer holds you back or drags you down. The Ten of Michael can help you recognize a feeling of relief as you bring closure to the situation, and a sense of opportunity for better days to come. This card and the Ten of Ariel have been drawn to help you recognize one or more situations you have buried deep inside. They send you courage and encouragement to face it, deal with it, and move on to happier times.

Card 5, Strength, represented by Archangel Ariel states, “Strength and grace through kindness. Self-confidence. Forgiveness.” Doreen and Radleigh state, “The kindness and understanding that you give to others are a blessed gift. However, it is equally important to show gentleness toward yourself… It is by balancing all aspects of yourself with love and mercy that you learn to exhibit those same qualities to people around you.” In reaching deep within, understand that whatever the circumstance involving yourself and another, you both did the best you were able at that time and place. With that in mind, kindness involves forgiveness, sometimes for ourselves, as well as for others. When extending true forgiveness, we free ourselves and grow. It is then that we are able to actualize abundance, joy, success, love, and peace.

The Empress, the Six of Raphael, and the Ten of Ariel all present an enticing picture of what our lives can be. The Ten of Michael and Strength show us the means to attain that life. May you prosper in all areas of your life this month. Namaste.
