This month’s angel card reading is from the Saints and Angels Oracle Card deck by Doreen Virtue, PhD. While shuffling the deck and asking, “What should we be thinking about during this month of April?” I was guided to set down four cards. Three cards were from the Guardian Angels and one from God. The following is our reading:
1. Sign From Above: This card is from a Guardian Angel. If you are moved by some sort of intuitive thought, do not ignore it. As the earth energies continually increase, and will be very intense over the next three months, more of us are receiving messages from spiritual beings offering guidance of one sort or another. Often, we receive what we think are random thoughts. We may consider them, but then dismiss them. Take a different perspective the next time this happens. Thoughts are actually not random, even if they appear that way. The spiritual realms are always working in our favor, trying to help us in various ways. These efforts come to us as thoughts and coincidences. If you ask yourself, “where did that come from”, know you are being guided in some way by a loving being and pay attention to it. Intuitive messages should be taken seriously, regardless of whether they make sense initially or not. Have faith that your well being is always in high regard with the angels and follow this guidance. Doreen tells us, ” Heaven is sending you blessings and answers in the form of signs in the physical world. These are messages that you see or hear repetitively. This card asks you to pay extra attention to signs… Notice anything that you see or hear three or more times. For instance, if several people recommend the same book, movie, or class to you, that’s a sign. Observe unusual occurrences, such as angel-shaped clouds or clusters of butterflies. Pay attention to items with a special significance, such as a loved one’s favorite song playing on the radio, or a flower that you associate with a particular person or event. This isn’t happenstance. The old adage that ‘coincidences are when God remains anonymous’ applies here. Trust in the signs you receive and know that they’re very real and meaningful to you.”
2. Commitment: This card is again from a Guardian Angel. It came up because it is important to seriously consider what it means to be committed. When committed to someone or something, our integrity is on the line. Our honor is at stake. Regardless of how things turn out, it behooves us to follow through. In taking a job, we should consciously commit ourselves to doing the best we can. We should do the same in the relationships we enter. Commitment is hard work. When we commit, we are saying ‘this is important and I will follow through.’ Doreen says, ” Although you may have experienced difficulties or fear, this card is a message from your guardian angel to stay committed. Honor your promises to your loved ones, and keep your word to yourself and others. If you’re feeling conflicted about having enough time for your responsibilities, then call upon the angels to help…. This card reminds you to follow through on your dreams, goals, and intentions. Stay committed to your priorities, and give them the daily attention they deserve. Remember that you’re ultimately in charge of your schedule. You have the right to say no to requests that pull you away from your commitments. Your angels can help you when you feel overwhelmed or overcommitted. To receive Heaven’s aid in this matter, give the entire situation to God. Be honest with yourself and your angels about your feelings, including any guilt or sense of obligation (these emotions can drain your energy, making it even more difficult to fulfill your obligations). You are loved and honored by Heaven, which has your best interests at heart, in addition to caring about the welfare of your loved ones. Your guardian angels enfold you with their loving wings and help you enjoy yourself as you accomplish everything on your list.
3. Love: This card comes from God. It is a reminder that in all ways, under all conditions, we are loved. Love is all there is. We are always connected to God, even though there are times when we feel totally disconnected. Feeling good, joyous, peaceful, kind, loving, and/or compassionate toward ourselves and others, makes our connection to God apparent. It may not be something we think a lot about, but these emotions are clear indications of this connection. Even when we feel lower emotions like sadness, anger, jealousy, fear, or self-doubt, the connection to God is still there, but it’s less apparent, harder to think about, see, and accept. Our emotions are a good indication of our acceptance of God’s love, so be joyous, for ultimately, God is love, we are love, and there is no other connection. We are told by Doreen, “God is love, and God is everywhere. Therefore, Divine care is surrounding, healing, and supporting [your] situation. The answer to your question is quite simply, ‘love.’ That’s because it’s all that exists, in truth. By focusing upon God and this caring, you’ll find the answers, solutions, and results you’re seeking. It appears that you’ve been struggling to do things on your own. This card is a reminder for you to call upon God for help with everything. Heaven’s infinite wisdom has miraculous answers and solutions for you. Don’t worry about how your prayer will be answered- instead, have faith that God’s will is for you and your loved ones to be at peace. Your life purpose involves your being a role model of Divine love. By meditating upon God before you do anything, you’re a reflection of this shining light, which is the best way for you to be a spiritual teacher: by living as an example. Feel God’s powerful love in your heart right now, and know that this is the answer that you seek.”
4. Be Brave: This card comes to us as an acknowledgement that life is often very difficult. Regardless, it is also a reminder that we are watched over continually by our Guardian Angel, who always desires the best for us. When we speak to our Guardian Angel about our challenges, and ask for assistance, we can be sure help is on the way, so listen carefully. It may be in a different form than what was anticipated, and it may yield a different result than what was expected, but it will be guidance for your greatest good. So be brave when you are walking down a path you did not expect, for your Guardian Angel is walking with you. Doreen explains, ” Although it may feel as if you’re unsafe or in the dark, your guardian angel assures you that you are completely safe, protected, and guided. Don’t be fooled by illusions of fear- instead, be courageous and shore up your personal strength. There’s a blessing in this situation, and by focusing on finding that benefit, you’re sure to discover it. Someone by whom you’re presently intimidated by will soon prove to be your loyal ally. Do your best to see God within everyone, within the situation… and within yourself. There’s truly nothing to fear in these circumstances. It’s actually an opportunity for you to grow stronger and more experienced, and to develop higher self-esteem. Don’t run from conflict, but face it with grace and love. Pray and ask for Heavenly help, and it’s assured. This situation will resolve itself rapidly in a miraculous way. Your role is to stay positive, speak your truth, and be brave.”
The Angels come to you this month to assure you they are with you for protection, guidance, solace, and rejoicing. Remember you are loved wholly and completely by God and the Angels, so stay connected and committed to them. Blessings for the month of April.
