This month’s angel card reading comes from the Archangel Power Tarot Cards, developed by Doreen Virtue, PhD, and Radleigh Valentine. The three cards drawn deal with the present. As you know, to live in the present is the only time frame you can influence. That’s where you get your presents.
The past is gone and the future will always be just that. Yet so many people live their lives bemoaning what was, or worrying about what will be. Neither negative outlook is productive because you cannot change what has already occurred, nor can you anticipate exactly what will happen in your life. Engaging in these types of thoughts lowers your vibration. When you remember, or envision joyful times, your vibration rises. So keep in mind, the control you seek is always in the present moment.
Now let’s take a look at the cards. The first card deals with the past. The second relates to the present. And the third card speaks to the future.

As you live in the present, periodically recall and examine situations in your past that have occurred. To do so gives you the opportunity to understand your past perspectives. Some probably were insightful and others may have negatively influenced your life. Understanding these perspectives helps you understand yourself better, and shows how you got to the present moment. Within the present time frame, the decisions you make can then be influenced by your knowledge of the past. All situations contain lessons. When you learn the lessons of the past, true healing occurs and life becomes much easier.

Here you are in the present moment. In a spiritual sense, each person on this planet is a perfect creation of God. When you accept yourself in this way, you can then understand when your thinking is positive, and the connection to God remains intact. However, negative thinking puts up roadblocks. This type of thinking keeps you from enjoying life as it was meant to be.
So, as you live life in the present and focus on the type of thinking you engage in, it becomes easier to change your thinking to that which serves you best. Positive thinking comes from the realization that regardless of the situation, there is always some kind of good that will come from it That means, even if the good is you’ll never do THAT again, you’ve learned something that will benefit you. The more you clear away the blocks in your thinking, the easier it is to see how good life is.

It also covers the emotional, like overcoming an addiction. Mental areas, like believing in your innate abilities, some of which are not always what you desire, are included. And spiritual areas, like acceptance of who you are, are important to consider. The hard work comes in the form of transforming negative thinking to a positive outlook. This boils down to how you look at yourself in relation to God. An unswerving belief in your perfect connection to God can make all the difference in the world.
