Kindness is something to be appreciated. When offered any form of kindness, our heart sings. We value the gesture and effort that is made, particularly when we least expect it, and/or it has been lacking in our life.
What is kindness? It comes in many forms. We can be kind to others, pets and plants, the earth, and ourselves. It’s a way of caring, a means of uplifting and showing love.
Kindness is egoless. It’s sometimes listening to another person unload their burden without trying to solve their problem. It can be making an effort to help someone without expectation of a return. Being kind for the sake of being kind can be impactful. Even making an effort not to help can be an act of kindness. This allows another to take responsibility for him or herself, hopefully making changes that are beneficial. Kindness is positive. It has a high vibration that spreads from one to another. It is a form of love for another that is respectful of the dignity of oneself as well as all others. We feel good when we act in kindness toward someone, and appreciate the feeling when a person is kind to us.
Why be kind? Sometimes kindness is looked upon as a weakness, but just the opposite is true. The energies produced raise a person’s vibration which means his or her immune system becomes stronger over time. This individual’s personal energy radiating outward, feels good and attracts similar energies. When we are kind, we open ourselves to others. We show them love, which is the most powerful force in the Universe. Each of us appreciates love from another. Send your love out into the world. Raise your own vibration for the good of yourself, those around you, and Mother Earth.
