This month’s angel card reading comes from the Angel Tarot card deck compiled by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine. The question for this month is “What are the reminders for us in this season of light?” As the daylight becomes less, the temperature gets colder, and the need for light in our lives increases, it is a perfect time for reflection. It is the final month of the year and before we know it, the new year will begin. Will we be ready? Will we be able to see our way? As we move forward, will the light be strong within us? Four cards were laid down off the top of the deck to give us a sense of what is important to consider at this time.
The first, third, and fourth cards comes from the Major Arcana. The twenty-two cards in this group describe major events and turning points in our lives, as well as represent the phases we pass through from childhood to old age. The second card comes from the Minor Arcana. This group of cards describe more day to day events in our lives.
1. Our first card is number 20, Renewal, and is influenced by Archangel Jeremiel. We are told, “Jeremiel is the archangel who helps you evaluate your life so you can clearly decide upon appropriate changes. Spend some time alone with a pad of paper and pen, and call upon Jeremiel to help you review what needs to be transformed, healed, or released.” This card states: “Review and evaluate. A favorable assessment of the facts. Time to move in a new direction.” Doreen and Radleigh tell us, “The angels sent you this card because you’re either near the end of a project, or at a crossroads, on the threshold of making an important change. This card signifies that it’s time to review and do some evaluation. Make thoughtful judgments regarding your life, and then make confident choices. Rest easy, knowing that you’ve prepared well. Legal situations are resolved favorably for you. In addition, academic examinations and certification tests go well.” This card is at the end of the Major Arcana, which is appropriate for this month, which is the end of this year. As we make a transition from the old to the new, it is always best to take stock of where we have been, where we are now, and where we want to go. Call on Archangel Jeremiel to guide you as you move forward.
2. The second card is the Eight of Fire. Doreen tells us, “The suit of fire represents our ideas and inspirations. It’s where we feel passion, display amazing creativity, and set our dreams into motion. This element corresponds to our career, art, adventure, risk taking, and self development. Fire can also represent any of our passions.” The card states: “Events moving at a fast pace. Delays are over. Many things happening at once.” Radleigh says, “Hold on tight, because things now move into high gear! Past delays are over, and your plans manifest with swiftness and energy. You may feel caught off guard as frenzied activities take over. It’s exhilarating and a little overwhelming, but it feels good to see your dreams coming true. Suddenly, you have a lot of things going on. Too many balls in the air? Stay grounded. Your messages are received positively right now. Embrace the spotlight.” At this time of year, as we prepare for our various holidays, life can get very hectic and we can lose sight of what is really important. So, make sure to call on Archangel Jeremiel, when life gets somewhat out of control, to help with grounding yourself and to focus on the significant areas of your life that will help you move forward successfully. Then call on Archangel Raziel to help you manifest your dreams.
3. The third card is number 1, The Magician, in the Major Arcana. It is overseen by Archangel Raziel. Radleigh tells us, “Archangel Raziel is the wizard-like angel of spiritual secrets and mysteries who will open doors of opportunity for you. He’ll also speed you along the pathway of manifestation so you’ll enjoy success much more quickly than seems logically possible.” This card states: “You are ready! You have the resources or the ability to manifest them. Life is magical.” We are told, “This card signals that it’s the right time to begin new projects! If you had any doubts about your ability to manifest your dreams, leave them behind. In fact, the more self-confidence you have, the more success you experience! Fortunately, the angels can boost your inner strength if you’ll call upon them for help. Although you may not feel ready to move forward upon your path, you’re actually more prepared than you realize. Your life experiences have trained you for this moment, and the opportunities available to you at this time are magical. It’s not necessary to take any more classes or read any more books, which would only delay you from walking through the door that’s presently open for you. Take focused action with respect to any plans you may have been preparing for.” Believe in the path you are setting for yourself. Trust in the archangels to assist you as you move forward. They are willing and eager to help us when we ask, but we have to ask.
4. The fourth, and last card, number 7, The Chariot, also comes from the Major Arcana, and is overseen by Archangel Metatron. Doreen says, “Archangel Metatron can increase your motivation and energy levels so that you’ll accomplish your priorities. Metatron uses a sacred geometric shape called a ‘Merkaba’ or ‘Metatron’s Cube’ to warp time, which enables you to instantly manifest your dreams into reality.” This card states: “An important achievement. Self-discipline and willpower. Public recognition.” Radleigh tells us, “Congratulations! This card means you’ve successfully balanced a recently challenging situation! Your ability to see both sides, take action, and make decisions has garnered you approval, respect, and gratitude. So bask in the joy of what you’ve accomplished. Stay calm and grounded, and be clear about what you’re trying to achieve. It’s important to show self-control, determination, and the willingness to go the distance at this time. Exercise control firmly- but kindly- with other people.” This card rounds out the message for this month. Take stock of where you are and where you are going; jump in with purpose; keep your eye on the ball; stay steady; and reap your rewards. I hope you will find success awaiting you in the cards.
