This month’s angel card reading comes from Doreen Virtue’s and Radleigh Valentine’s Archangel Power Tarot Card deck. Doreen tells us, “The tarot reflects a benevolent Universe that only wants to lead us on a path toward joy and fulfillment.” The messages this month are short and sweet. Hopefully, you will be able to associate with the guidance coming from these cards.
The Archangel Power Tarot Cards are divided into two parts. The Major Arcana consists of twenty-two numbered cards which are concerned with important life events and the different phases of life from childhood to old age. There are a variety of archangels representing each step. The Minor Arcana is divided into four specific suits of cards from ace to king. Each set is represented by a specific archangel and each card in the set interprets day to day events.
This reading includes three cards, which respond to the question, “To what should we direct our attention this month?” The first two cards are the Six of Gabriel and the Eight of Gabriel, and the third card is the Two of Raphael. Doreen tells us about the Suit of Gabriel, “Archangel Gabriel is known to be a patron of creativity, as well as a helpful and supportive guide to accomplishing all our goals! Gabriel was chosen for the first suit because it represents the aspects of our lives where we take action. Creativity and passion combine in order to empower us to make our dreams come true. This suit also reflects artistic ability, careers, and the desire to develop and grow.”
The first card, Six of Gabriel, is very positive. It says: “Congratulations, you’ve done a wonderful job! Time to move on to the next project. Awards, scholarships, or promotions… You’ve done a brilliant job! Your hard work has paid off, and those around you are highly impressed… Enjoy this time of positive feedback- but don’t rest on your laurels too long. There are other great works ahead of you! This card can also indicate that it’s time to make choices that benefit you personally, rather than ones that are self-sacrificing. It’s ok to take care of you!” I think Gabriel is telling us that as hard as life can be sometimes, we all have successes whether great or small. We should recognize and appreciate all we have accomplished, whether acknowledged by others or not. In doing so, we give ourselves a boost to move on to other successes in the future. It is wonderful to receive recognition for a job well done. Gabriel desires us to continue to move forward to avoid stagnation, and to build upon our past glories.
The second card, Eight of Gabriel, brings us into the present. It states: “A great deal of activity. Sudden and immediate results. Important communication… [T]hings are moving at a very fast pace! All delays are over, and now the sky’s the limit! It may be a little overwhelming, but it also feels good to see your plans moving forward. It could feel as though there are too many things going on at once, so it will be necessary to stay grounded. It’s important to have a very organized plan so that things don’t spin out of control… It’s a good time to promote yourself or your business.” So you have moved on to your next project and it takes right off. All the pieces are in place and it is amazing how it all flows. Enjoy the ride, but make sure you are holding the reins with a firm grip, so that what you want is what you get. If necessary, seek advice from knowledgable people to help you keep a clear eye on all that is unfolding. Your manifestation is here, right now, because you believed in it whole-heartedly.
Doreen tells us about the Suit of Raphael. “Emotion can motivate us to accomplish many wondrous and exciting things. We reach out and touch the world with our hearts, and suddenly life becomes all the more worthwhile. The suit of Raphael is all about falling in love, getting, married, and having children. We cherish our families, whether we are born to them or choose them later in life. Dreams, hopes, and deep desires are found in this suit. These cards also relate to the development and expression of psychic abilities and intuition. We chose Archangel Raphael to represent this suit because of his history of heralding love and important relationships in people’s lives.”
The third and final card, the Two of Raphael, moves us into the near future. It says, “Two hearts can create something wonderful! A friendship can grow deeper, or a romance can flourish and bloom. Regardless of the nature of the relationship, time deepens the bond, and a long-term connection based on respect and understanding develops. This is the card of kindred spirits. Forgiveness heals wounded feelings. Relationships can be reconciled. Now is not the time to give up on those you love. Disagreements between people or groups will come to positive resolution.” Not only are you achieving remarkable things in your life, but you are successful on an interpersonal level as well. You are moving into a more meaningful relationship which enhances your life.
