Animals, plants and minerals are beings of pure energy. They exist in the present, never worrying about the past, or anticipating the future. They accept who they are, where they are, how they are. These beings never question their purpose, they just are. Because they allow that which transpires for them, to them, with them, or against them, there is no questioning, no resistance in their lives. They take care of business right there and then. Animals, plants and minerals are directly connected to Source because they instinctively trust in the greater scheme of life and allow it to unfold just as it will. Whatever happens is accepted. Each kingdom contributes to the others in its own unique way.

A lion lives IMG_1043its life, just as a lion should. It is born, breathes, grows, hunts, eats, rests, fights, mates, ages, and eventually dies. It does not question where it will get its next meal, which female is the most desirable, or which male is the bravest. Lions live their lives as lions. Each animal lives its life as it was meant to. If there are hierarchies in animal groups, it serves a purpose, usually revolving around social structure and safety. Cooperation and what is best for the group is all important. Animals provide animal energy in the world. It comes in different forms, depending on the animal, but it is part of the circle of life on this planet. Animals return to the earth upon dying. They return their carcass to enrich the soil for plants and crystals, and their energy to enrich the earth on a spiritual level.

Plants are a diffeIMG_1049rent life form than animals, obviously. Their essence is god-like because they, too, do not challenge how they were meant to live their lives. Plants are rooted, not able to move from where they began their growth. A plant does not question the weather, the seasons, or its purpose. It just grows, yields, and eventually dies. Plants live as plants, exuding oxygen for animals to breath, as well as food and medicine for a variety of animals. In death, they provide nutrients to the earth. Over a very long time,  they solidify into soil, rocks, and minerals. Their energy, too, enriches our earth on a spiritual level.

Some say there is no life in a mineral, but truly, the life force is there. It is just different from plants and animals. Whatever grows has life force energy within it, so minerals yield their own type of energy. They have unique properties that make each what it is. Minerals, including crystals, have properties which can be used in modern technology and also for healing. Some are used in medicines; others can be used more subtly by wearing them for the properties they impart. Indigenous peoples around the world use minerals and crystals for healing purposes, protection, and ceremony because they are tuned into their energies and understand how beneficial they can be.  Minerals come from the earth and enrich our earth both physically and spiritually.

There are lessons these kingdoms can teach humans. Humans are the only beings to have the power of higher thought, decision, and free will. And because of these abilities, the lives of humans are complex. In fact, much more complicated than is necessary to live a purposeful life. The other kingdoms teach us about being, accepting, avoiding resistance, maintaining a pure vibrational connection with Source. Each understands and accepts its purpose in life. Modern humans lose their connection to Source when they look outside themselves for answers. The most important questions are, “Who am I? Why am I here? What is my purpose?”.  The only meaningful answers come from within. It is there, where a person is connected to the Higher Self or Source energy, that he or she can find the answers. Inevitably, the answers are “love”,  “just be”, “love”, “allow”, “love”, “forgive”, “love”, “accept”, and “love”. Love yourself, love each other, love the animals, love the plants, love the minerals, love our earth. So be it.
