The following is an angel card reading from the Ascended Masters. The Ascended Masters are spiritual guides from throughout the world’s religions and cultures. Most were humans at one point in time who lived in such a high state of consciousness that they became enlightened. I have asked them to reveal and help us understand important information for the month of January. This information is directed to every individual to help us live more fruitful lives, as well as bring peace and tranquility to ourselves, the lives of others we encounter, to the human population as a whole, and to our planet Earth.

The question I posed was, “What information will guide our lives for the month of January 2014?” The cards come from the Ascended Masters card deck, developed by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D.

The cards were shuffled, the question was asked, and the following cards were randomly drawn :

1. Lady Nada: “Mother, Wife, Sister, Daughter”.  Doreen tells us, “Lady Nada is an Ascended Master who works with Saint-Germain and Archangel Michael to help bring about balance of the male and female energies of the world… You can call upon Lady Nada to help you find peace with both females and males in your life, and also to harmonize and balance masculine and feminine energies within yourself.” My impression of this card brought to mind the concept of the Divine Feminine, which is the creative force now coming into this world. Each of these women referred to on the card brings the life force to a higher consciousness by virtue of who they are. The attributes of the feminine are becoming stronger with time. If allowed to develop, humanity has a chance to evolve to a higher plane of existence. It is time for the dominant masculine energies in the world, present for thousands of years, to be tempered and brought into harmony with the feminine. The feminine energies do not seek to control, but to work in partnership on an equal basis with the masculine.

2. Serapis Bey: “Go now”. Doreen explains, “Serapis Bey is an Egyptian god of ascension and a bridge between Heaven and Earth. He… motivates people to take good care of themselves physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Call upon Serapis Bey  whenever you need additional energy and motivation to take action.” I intuitively felt that each of us was being told to take the feminine energies out into the world. This card links with the first in that respect. Take action and bring more love, understanding, nurturing, compromise, and peace onto the planet. It behooves each of us to take whatever steps are necessary to bring the masculine into balance with the feminine for the good of all.

3. Melchizedek: “Spiritual Law of Attraction”. Doreen says, “Melchizedek was a Canaanite priest-king and teacher of the patriarch Abraham. He’s associated with Archangel Michael and Jesus in many ancient spiritual texts… Melchizedek is reputed to be Noah’s descendant and a great spiritual master of alchemy and sacred geometry. Call upon Melchizedek for help in mastering manifestation and to understand esoteric wisdom.” The Spiritual Law of Attraction tells us we attract people or situations into our lives because they reflect our own thoughts, emotions and beliefs. This card tells me that in order for the Divine Feminine to take hold in the world, it must originate within each of us. We will only see it in the world when we hold it inside as an important belief. To change what is seen in the world, accept and believe in the higher energies of love, understanding, forgiveness, and peace. What is thought and felt attracts what is said and done.

Two other cards that influence this reading accidentally fell out of the deck while shuffling:

1. King Solomon: “Priorities”. We are told, “King Solomon ruled Israel following the death of his father, King David. Solomon was a wise and open-minded man… Call upon King Solomon to resolve dilemmas, to build new projects, and to foster tolerance among various religious and spiritual paths.” I feel Solomon is telling us to get our priorities straight. Are we going to continue as humans to travel the present road? If so, many predict dire consequences. Or are we going to change our modern day priorities of individualism, power, greed, and prejudice to more sustaining ones of cooperation, understanding, compromise, and peace? We are being called to look at ourselves, not only as individuals, but as communities, and nations, to make good decisions for all.

2. Vishnu: “Trust”. Doreen expands our understanding as she tells us about Vishnu. “Vishnu is the Hindu god who works alongside the gods Brahma and Shiva to preserve the world. He brings about harmony when powers become unbalanced, and provides protection and mercy to all. A benevolent and loving deity, Vishnu can help you feel safe about your current and future life.” This card tells me we can trust all will be well. Most people want acceptance, love, peace, and prosperity in their lives. As changes are made to ensure these qualities, we can expect a fruitful life. To change, we must trust in our own inner guidance, as well as that of the angels in whatever form they take. We will be watched over and shown the way if we truly want to reap the benefits of these changes.

This reading is an announcement, somewhat of a warning, but ultimately guidance to help us understand how to lead a balanced, peaceful and prosperous existence on this earth. We are being told to temper ourselves. We are being told to change. We are being told there is a better way of living than what we are experiencing now. And we are being told to trust in our higher selves, that inner knowledge that guides us to what is best for us. I thank these Ascended Masters for bringing their wisdom to us. Let us be wise in listening to their advice.
